1. What information do I collect?

Personal information you disclose to me

In Short: I collect personal information that you provide to me.

I collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to me when you use my contact form, register on the Support Portal, leave a review and participate in Services or otherwise contact me.

Personal Information Provided by You. The personal information that I collect depends on the context of your interactions with me and the Services, the choices you make, and the features you use. The personal information I collect may include:

  • email address

  • usernames
  • passwords

Sensitive Information. I do not process sensitive information.

Information automatically collected

In Short: When you visit my Services, certain information, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and browser and device characteristics, is automatically collected.

When you access my Services, specific data is automatically gathered. This data doesn’t disclose your personal identity, like your name or contact details, but it may consist of details about your device and how you use it, such as your IP address, browser and device features, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, usage patterns, and other technical information. It is mainly collected to ensure the security and functionality of my Services, as well as for my internal analysis and reporting needs.

Cookies for logged-in users

Account creation and login is required in order for you to be able to gain access and confidentially share information through the Support Portal. If you visit the login page, a temporary cookie is set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, several cookies will be set up to save your login information. Login cookies last for two days. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

6. How Long do I Keep Your Information?

In Short: I keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy notice, unless otherwise required by law.

I will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this policy will require us keeping your personal information for longer than   the period of time in which users have an account or are using the Services. 

When I have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, I will either delete or anonymise such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then I will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. In Short: I do not knowingly collect data from, or market to, children under 18 years of age.

I do not knowingly solicit data from, or market to, children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If I learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, I will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from my records. Upon your request to terminate your account, I will deactivate or delete your account and information from active databases. 10. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (‘DNT’) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised. As such, I do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that I must follow in the future, I will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
